Join us as we move through the final days of the Lenten journey and into the excitement of Easter and the promise of the Risen Christ. This year, worship opportunities will be online in a variety of formats.

  • Palm Sunday

    April 5

    11:00 a.m.

Commemorate the triumphant arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem. Worship at Home (click here!) with Scripture, a message from Pastor Kate, music from organist Marvin Mills, a children's message from Dr. Meg Baker, and hymns for all to sing led by the Weikert family.

  • Maundy Thursday

    April 9

    7:00 p.m.

Maundy Thursday commemorates the events of the day before Jesus’s execution, including The Last Supper and the arrest of Jesus. This year, we offer a Service of Breath and Light. You will be able to watch the worship service on our Worship at Home page.

  • Black Friday

    April 10

    7:00 p.m.

Black Friday, also sometimes called Good Friday, commemorates the crucifixion and death of Christ. Pastor Pat Allen and Organist Marvin Mills will collaborate for a meditative service which will be available through our Worship at Home page.

  • Easter Eggstravaganza

    April 11 - April 19

While we can't gather in person for our breakfast, story time, crafts, and egg hunt, we are working to bring many elements of this experience to families virtually! Our celebration will include a variety of materials and video clips featuring some familiar faces and families from St. Paul's. These will be made available on our website - look for more info at stpaulsk.org/community/children from Saturday 4/11 through Sunday 4/19.

  • Easter Sunday

    April 12

    11:00 a.m.

Celebrate the message of hope made alive in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, from your home or wherever you may be this year. This service will feature Scripture, a sermon message from Rev. Dr. Pat Allen, and music. You will be able to view the service through our Worship at Home page or on Facebook.

  • A Special Note During COVID-19

The St. Paul's UMC church building is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. Worshiping apart at Easter time, when we are used to celebrating together in great numbers, may challenge us mentally and emotionally in new ways. Pastoral counseling and care is available to all, for any reason, by phone, email, video conference, or text. Email Pastor Pat Allen (pallen [at] stpaulsk.org) or Pastor Kate Mackereth Fulton (kfulton [at] stpaulsk.org) to get started.

Easter Offerings

God has blessed the ministries of this church and has allowed us a vision that looks far beyond our own walls to see people and places in need. At their last meeting, our Church Council decided to set aside all of this year’s special Easter Offering to support two projects:

  • The Hunger Ministry at St. Paul's, feeding over 100 families in the 20895 ZIP code area who face food insecurity with a monthly food distribution and grocery assistance.
  • UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee On Relief that responds in times of crisis to feed, shelter, clothe, and restore communities struck by disaster in the U.S. and around the globe.

To give to these worthy projects online, click here to visit our secure Giving page to make a one-time Easter Special Offering donation. Members and friends may use the Easter Offering envelope mailed to members' homes. Checks may be made payable to St. Paul’s UMC with the words “Easter Offering” on the memo line.

All other offerings or donations toward your 2020 yearly giving or pledge should be made using an envelope other than the Easter Offering envelope. Thank you!
