The Story of Daniel in the Lions’ Den

All are invited to please come enjoy the Musical Theatre Camp’s one and only presentation of “Rescue in the Night: The Story of Daniel in the Lions’ Den” with words by Tom S. Long, and music by Allen Pote. 


This free 30-minute presentation is family-and-kid-friendly! 


It features a cast of 24 campers in grades 4-9 and includes beautiful music, plenty of choreography, and heart-felt solos.

=Musical Theatre Camp 2024 at St. Paul’s UMC

Join our cast of kids age 4th grade through 9th grade as they learn an entire musical in just five days, and then present it at the end of the week! Musical Theatre Camp 2024 begins Monday July 8 and runs through Friday July 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.


Registration is open to the first 24 campers; register early please as camp fills up quickly! The camp accepts cast members who are entering 4th grade and older. 


All registered campers will be in the presentation; auditions for specific role assignments are usually held in June. Please note: Camper attendance is required through the final presentation. We regret that we cannot accept any cast members who cannot commit to the presentation.


Campers are asked to bring a bag lunch each day. Snacks will be provided. We also seek adult volunteer helpers; please see the registration form for volunteer shifts!


To register: Fill out and return the camp application, and pay the camp fee by check or credit card(St. Paul's members & friends interested in camperships to offset tuition expenses should contact Associate Pastor Rev. Joey Heath-Mason for a confidential discussion about financial aid.)

If you've already begun the registration process and have outstanding paperwork to finish, you may hand-deliver forms or payments to the St. Paul's UMC office, or send them by mail. We have disabled the online payment portal. If you still need to make a camp payment by credit card to complete the process, please contact Erin Steele in the church office at stpaulsunited@stpaulsk.org for payment options.
