Sunday Weather Alert

St. Paul's will be open for worship at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Due to possible snow, you may prefer to watch the 10:30 worship through the livestream available at https://stpaulsk.org/worship/worship-at-home

Additionally, the worship service may be shortened in an effort to avoid peak weather concerns. Please use extreme caution before choosing to venture out in wintry weather.

All other activities besides worship will be canceled for Sunday, including SPY and Children's Choir. Please reach out to your group leaders for questions about rescheduling.

We follow Montgomery County Public Schools students' schedule for weather-related delays and closures during the week.  Click this link for the current Montgomery County schools homepage with announcements:

SCAM ALERT!

Churches throughout the Baltimore-Washington region have had reports of scammers posing as church leaders, attempting to scam the church community by requesting money or gift cards. Our pastors and staff are NOT seeking gift cards! Please donate only through stpaulsk.org or by mailing donations to the church's physical address! Read more here.

Inclement weather POlicies

St. Paul's offices and building follow Montgomery County Public Schools students' schedule for all weekday delays, closures, or cancellations.

  • If Montgomery County students are reporting on a 2-hour delay, St. Paul's offices will also be on a 2-hour delay and will open at 12:00 noon (Mon-Thurs).
  • When students do not report to school, or when school weekend activities are canceled, St. Paul's building will be closed and any scheduled events will be canceled, rescheduled, or moved to off-site/virtual platforms. Please contact group leaders directly if you have questions about a specific event.
  • When the church is closed, staff may be temporarily unavailable. Individuals may choose to work from home or flex their weekly hours. Power outages, family circumstances, and other conditions on a "Snow Day" may affect response time.
  • For Sunday Worship: The pastors will track potential weather events and make a determination about worship by 5:00 PM on the day before. Worship will be available online at 10:30 AM each Sunday, even when we are not gathering in-person.

For contact information, please see our Meet the Staff page.

Please use your own best judgment and choose to be safe before venturing out in any weather!
